Mickey Rosen has been providing information technology services to the securities industry for nearly 40 years. A pioneer in electronic securities trading, Mr. Rosen was a member of the original team that developed POSIT, the leading intra-day institutional crossing system. Mr. Rosen developed the systems and operational infrastructure to support POSIT trade volume and managed its operations area. From 1997-2005 he served as Managing Director of Kesher, LLC, a securities industry consulting firm. From 1999 through 2001 he served as President of T1Xpert Corp., a firm that developed state of the art real-time operational tools that combined risk management and post-trade management. He served as a Senior Vice President at UNX, Inc., a firm specializing in building technology tools for electronic trading from 2007-2009. He was the firm's market structure expert and was active in new business development. From 1986 to 1996, Mr. Rosen held a variety of senior general management and information technology positions in the securities industry, most recently as President of W&D Securities, a subsidiary of Jefferies & Company.
Mickey has also served as an expert witness in several cases. His expertise is in several areas. He is an expert in brokerage operations and efficient trading strategies. In addition he has extensive knowledge of retail brokerage practices and operations. He also is an expert in the planning and deployment of large scale systems, with a specialty in brokerage systems.
In the past few years he has concentrated on mentoring younger executives and now devotes his practice to one on one coaching.
